Description

Reproduces natural stone texture and adds warmth to your shower.

Its relief boosts grip without sacrificing easy cleaning.

The Slate shower tray reproduces the natural relief of slate stone in mineral-filled resin: warm, full of character and C3 anti-slip. It is our best seller for modern showers, because its texture brings looks and grip in one go.

Texture that doubles as safety

The slate-style relief is not just for show: it gives extra grip underfoot. Combined with the class 3 (C3) anti-slip treatment, it makes one of the safest options for the whole family, children and older people included.

It echoes the grain of natural stone with the upsides of resin: light next to real stone, warm to the touch and easy to look after.

Style and colour

It is the finish that sits best in showers with a modern or rustic-contemporary feel. In dark tones (anthracite, black) it gains presence; in light ones (white, cream) it blends in and adds texture without crowding the room. Available in all ten colours, with the tone running right through the body.

Made to measure and fitting

We make it to your exact size from 70×70 to 100×200 cm; a 70×140, for example, is very common when replacing a bath. It comes with the trap and grate included and takes flush or surface-mounted fitting.

Cleaning the relief

The relief holds a little more limescale than a flat surface, but it cleans off with no effort using pH-neutral soap and a soft brush; no abrasives. We cover it in how to clean a resin shower tray.

The waste and trap, part by part

The trap comes with the tray and is the same on every size. It fits the hole moulded at the factory and exits sideways with a G 1½" thread, the standard plumbing size, so your fitter connects it without odd adaptors.

The assembly is 58.86 mm tall, so allow 60 mm or more of clear space under the tray to fit it comfortably. That is the measurement to check before you buy, especially for a floor-level installation.

Where the waste sits

It is drilled at the factory and cannot be moved: the fall is already formed towards it, across four panels. On rectangular sizes it is centred across the width and 37.5 cm from one end; on square sizes it sits in the centre of the tray. If your floor outlet does not line up, it is solved during installation with a length of pipe at its own fall.

FAQ

Can I order a size that's not listed?

Yes. We make to measure: message us on WhatsApp with your width and length for a quote.

Can the tray be cut?

Yes, the resin can be cut to fit your bathroom to the millimetre.

Does it include a trap?

Yes, every tray includes the trap and grate for free.

Is it slippery?

No. The whole range has the top non-slip rating (class C3).

Can I choose where the waste goes?

No: it comes pre-drilled at the factory, centred across the width and on rectangular sizes 37.5 cm from one end, and on square sizes in the centre of the tray. The fall is already formed towards it. We cannot put it in a corner or halfway along the tray. If your floor outlet doesn't line up, that gets solved during installation with a run of pipe; what you need to measure is the clear height under the tray. We explain it here

Does the Slate relief clean up well?

Yes. It holds a touch more limescale than a smooth one, but with pH-neutral soap and a soft brush it comes out perfect. Keep abrasives away.

Is it very anti-slip?

Very: it adds the slate-style relief on top of the class 3 (C3) treatment, the highest rating.

Slate or Smooth?

The Slate brings texture and warmth; the Smooth is more minimalist. Both are C3, so it comes down to style.

Which colours look best?

Anthracite and black for more presence; white and cream to blend in. All five are available.

Can it be made to measure to replace a bath?

Yes. It is made to the exact size of the bath recess, up to 100×200 cm.

Does it come with a trap and grate?

Yes, both at no extra cost: a stainless steel trap and grate.
