It pays off where a rectangular tray will not go: in a narrow bathroom, the curve gives back the space the tray was taking from the door.

Description

When a curve pays off

In a narrow bathroom, a rectangular tray in the corner forces an enclosure that swings inwards and eats the walkway. The 50 radius curve trims that corner and gives back the space right where you step in.

It is the same Quarzo tray behind our Smooth and Slate finishes — same resin, same waste, same colours — only the front changes shape.

The enclosure it takes

It is made for two-panel sliding corner enclosures, which are the ones that follow the curve. Before ordering, check the radius yours accepts: ours is R-50, the most common.

Waste and finish

The waste sits in the centre of the tray, with the fall running towards it, and it uses the same round valve as the Smooth and the Slate: 60 l/min at 15 mm water depth with a square stainless steel grate. 27 to 30 mm thick and class 3 (C3) anti-slip.

FAQ

Why is there no price on the site?

Because the factory has not sent us a tariff for this shape yet. Write to us with your size and we will send a firm price and lead time.

What sizes are available?

Widths of 70, 80 and 90 cm, with a 50 radius curve. It is a corner shape, so the width and the depth match.

Can it be cut?

No. The curve is moulded at the factory; cutting it would ruin the radius and the edge. If you need to adjust centimetres, the way is a trimmed rectangular tray.

Does it use the same valve as the others?

Yes, the round 60 l/min one with a stainless steel grate, just like the Smooth and the Slate. It is the same Quarzo tray with a different front.

The waste and trap, part by part

The trap comes with the tray and is the same on every size. It fits the hole moulded at the factory and exits sideways with a G 1½" thread, the standard plumbing size, so your fitter connects it without odd adaptors.

The assembly is 58.86 mm tall, so allow 60 mm or more of clear space under the tray to fit it comfortably. That is the measurement to check before you buy, especially for a floor-level installation.

Where the waste sits

It is drilled at the factory and cannot be moved: the fall is already formed towards it, across four panels. On rectangular sizes it is centred across the width and 37.5 cm from one end; on square sizes it sits in the centre of the tray. If your floor outlet does not line up, it is solved during installation with a length of pipe at its own fall.
